This is a complete workout system right in Mckinney, TX. We are not a boot camp gym. We offer a split workout routine style. Monday-Tuesday is Lower Body, Wednesday-Thursday Upper Body and Friday and Saturday is Full body Day resistance training. We use short rest periods to challenge your cardio and functional exercises to improve your mobility.

What does Yin Yoga do?
Yin yoga stretches and targets both the deep connective tissues between the muscles, and the fascia throughout the body. The aim is to increase circulation in the joints and improve flexibility as the poses stretch and exercise the bone and joint areas. It also helps us to regulate the body's flow of energy.
TBT Yin Yoga Class Description - Yin is for everyone. Yin Yoga targets the deep connective tissue of the body, to open and release tension and stimulate synovial fluid of the joints. Practiced in a cooler room to open and stretch areas of the body without engaging your muscles. Poses are seated or supine and are held for several minutes. TBT Yin Yoga cultivates flexibility and a calm mind. Yin is excellent for competitive athletes, limited mobility and those with joints concerns. A great practice to start or end your day!

Striking Attire
Your clothing choice reflects your personal style, and your tops and bottoms should make you feel comfortable whether you wear a T-shirt and shorts or a tank-top and long pants, but choose fabrics that soak up sweat from your skin and allow your skin to breathe. Kickboxing clothing should be loose fitting to give you an enormous range of motion in your kicks and punches but not so loose that your pants or sleeves hinder your workout. You don't want to trip over your pant leg when you throw a kick. If you are female, wear a supportive sports bra.
Equipment Needed
Kickboxing classes require that you wear protective gear. The class includes contact with a punching bag or a person. Wear 16oz gloves that secure your wrists to protect your hands. MMA gloves can be used when ground, stand up sparring, or against small targets such as focus mitts. Wear headgear if you perform contact kickboxing and risk getting punched or kicked in the head.
Required Gear
Fight Shorts, Rash Guard or T-shirt. Hand wraps, boxing gloves (16 oz. gloves), shorts, t-shirt.
If you are going to spar you will also need: shin pads, mouthpiece, cup, headgear.

Just roll up the T-shirt of the attacker to create a stronger grip, place your feet on their hip to help you get your forearm across their head to their neck, then squeeze your shoulder blades and arch your back, then using a x motion with your hands toward the floor finish the submission. Make sure to hold for at least 15 seconds to make sure attacker is unconscious.

What is MMA-Mix Martial Arts?
We offer MMA & BJJ for Kids-Teens and Adults
MMA= is a combat sport involving STRIKING AND GROUND & POUND GRAPPLING type techniques, such as jab, cross, upper cut, knees, elbow, kicks, clinch fighting, throws and takedowns, joint locks, pins and other grappling holds. A MMA bout is a physical competition, between two competitors or sparring partners, who attempt to KO, TKO or submit his opponent.
What is BJJ?
What should I wear to BJJ class?
You must wear a Gi (ask the professor). You will need to buy a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Gi with our Patch on it or you can add our patch to your current Gi. Do NOT wear anything with extra pockets, belt loops or baggy fabric.Should I wear a cup in BJJ?
Athletic cups. Some decide to wear them in training, some choose not to or simply don't care. While in training you can wear one, you have to remember that in BJJ competitions, cups are banned.
How long does it take to earn a black belt in BJJ?
A: At least 10 years
It can take upwards of 10 years to achieve the dan (black belt) grade, and requires not only technical knowledge, but also verifiable ability in sparring. Competition experience is also often expected. And as there are only a few belts, you will spend a long time on each one. Also, your progress will not be linear.

What should I wear to MMA class?
We suggest a rash guard and board shorts, but a fitted t-shirt and comfortable athletic shorts will do for your first time. You may also want to bring a mouthpiece and a groin protector. If you're taking the Kickboxing class and have your own gloves and shin pads, feel free to bring them. If you don't, don't worry!
